Restaurants form the foundation of your TastyFood presence. Whether you operate a single location or manage a group of venues, TastyFood makes it easy to organize and oversee all your restaurants in one place. This guide covers every aspect of restaurant creation and management, ensuring your restaurant is set up for success.

Restaurant Settings

Below are the key settings for tailoring your restaurant’s profile.

Restaurant Name

This is the official name of your restaurant that appears to customers across all menus and listings.

Restaurant Nickname

The restaurant nickname is for internal use only and will not be visible to customers. Assign a nickname to help you easily identify and manage multiple restaurants within your account. For example, you can a location or city name such as "Vancouver" or "Downtown" to distinguish between venues.

Upload a default banner image (JPG or PNG format) to appear at the top of all your restaurant menus. Use the built-in cropping tool to adjust your image to a 16:9 aspect ratio for optimal display. The banner image will be automatically cropped to fit various device screens. To prevent important details from being cut off, ensure there is sufficient padding around the edges of your image.

Create a Restaurant

Log onto your TastyFood mobile app, or visit your Dashboard at tastyfood.com/dashboard.
Navigate to Your Restaurants.
Click the Add Restaurant button.
Enter your restaurant details. For a description of each field, see the Restaurant Settings section above.
Click the Save button.

Select a Restaurant

TastyFood allows you to create multiple restaurants within your account. This is useful if you have multiple restaurant locations. To get to your restaurant list and select between different restaurants:

Click the Restaurant Selector dropdown on the main dashboard page and select your restaurant.

Click Your Restaurants or use the dropdown menu on the main dashboard page and select your restaurant.

Update your Restaurant

Easily return to the Update Restaurant screen to update your restaurant information at any time.

Select your restaurant, then click Restaurant Settings on the main dashboard page.

Click the button next to the restaurant you want to update.

Delete your Restaurant

Navigate to the Update Restaurant screen (learn how). Then click the button at the top right corner of the screen to delete the restaurant.
