Menu Setup

Your menu is the centerpiece of your TastyFood presence. It's the first thing customers see when they scan your QR code. This guide will walk you through the process of setting up an engaging menu that showcases your dishes and drives customer engagement.

On this page, you'll find:

Menu Settings

Below are the key settings for customizing your menu to best reflect your restaurant's brand and offerings.

The primary display name for your menu. For example: "Dinner Menu", "Lunch Special", or "Weekend Brunch". This name appears on menus, QR codes, and customer communications.

Publish Menu

Publishing your menu will make it visible to customers on the TastyFood platform. You can unpublish your menu at any time to hide it from customers.

Upload a custom banner image (JPG or PNG format) to appear at the top of this restaurant menu. This image will override the default restaurant banner for this menu. Use the built-in cropping tool to adjust your image to a 16:9 aspect ratio for optimal display. The banner image will be automatically cropped to fit various device screens. To prevent important details from being cut off, ensure there is sufficient padding around the edges of your image.

Template Style

Choose a predefined template for your menu's appearance so that the visual style and layout of your menu matches your brand.

Customize Colors

Customize the colors of menu text elements, such as category and item names, descriptions and prices, to match your restaurant's branding and create a cohesive visual experience.

Click the button to open the Color Picker. From the Color Picker, you can select your desired color or enter the HEX/RGBA/HSLA/HWBA/HSVA code.

Schedule

You may pick a scheduled start time, end time, and time zone for when this menu should be active. During this scheduled time, the menu will automatically load as the active menu when a diner visits your restaurant. Outside of the scheduled time, or if no time range is set, menus will be shown according to your preferred order.
