Understanding how restaurants and menus are structured within TastyFood is essential for effective management. This page explains the hierarchy, from accounts to restaurants, menus, categories, and items, and how these elements work together to create a seamless experience for both operators and customers.

Restaurant Hierarchy

  • Account: The highest level of your TastyFood presence. Your account provides access to the platform and serves as the umbrella for all your restaurants.
  • Restaurant: An individual dining location or venue. Each restaurant contains its own set of menus, settings, and branding.
  • Menu: A collection of your restaurant’s offerings, organized for easy browsing. Menus are divided into categories and contain the menu items available to diners.
  • Category: A grouping of related menu items, such as Appetizers, Main Courses or Desserts. Categories streamline menu organization and enhance the guest browsing experience.
  • Item: An individual dish or beverage, complete with its name, description, pricing options and dietary information.
