What is Menu Magic?
Menu Magic harnesses advanced artificial intelligence to instantly transform your printed menus into a digital format. By simply taking a photo or uploading an image of your menu, TastyFood’s AI analyzes the content and intelligently extracts categories, menu items, descriptions, and prices. This powerful technology dramatically reduces manual data entry, streamlining the menu creation process and allowing you to focus on what matters most: your food and your guests.
How to Use Menu Magic

On the TastyFood mobile app, first create a restaurant, then add a menu.

Once in your menu, click the Menu Magic button.

Follow the prompt to take a photo of your menu, or upload a picture.

While our AI chef is working, you can continue to customize your menu. You will be notified when the process is complete.

Carefully review the imported menu categories and items for accuracy. Make any necessary edits to ensure all details are correct and reflect your actual menu.

To import another page of your menu, click the button.
Imported categories and menu items are saved as drafts and are not visible to customers until you choose to publish them. Use our Publish All feature to quickly publish all categories and items once you are happy with the results (learn how).
Tips for using Menu Magic
- Take a well-lit image of your menu and ensure that the text is legible.
- Review the imported data for accuracy, especially for complex menus or handwritten text.
- Add images and videos to your menu items to make them more engaging.
